McPherson Strut Coil Over Suspensions have become the suspension of choice for many classic Mustang enthusiasts, Including Autoworks International. Unlike other front suspension systems, the McPherson strut has completely changed the game, becoming the suspension design choice for many current production performance vehicles. Ridding your car of the tired old components & Geometry that plagued these cars, the new GPS McPherson Strut & Brake kit for early Fords switches you into a modern design, unparalled by older double A arm systems. Because of the switch of systems, each component is entirely re-designed in an effort to relieve the slop and bounce of standard set ups. Think of GPS struts as the BMW of Mustang suspensions; firm but not jarring and very reactive.

Since this a McPherson strut, there is no need for an upper control arm. You stock lower control arms can be used in conjunction with this system, though we recommend using Global West lower control arms for best handling characteristics.

Simple bolt on installation; Mounts in original shock tower. 
Dampening is adjustable through the top of the shock tower, without having to
   remove the coil-over
