Paintable Steel, Chrome, Polished aluminum. An
aftermarket wheel is required, a stock ford wheel
will not bolt up.

1964-'66 Mustang - Your original column has a
solid shaft from inside the gearbox to the steering wheel.
This shaft will need to be modified. A new coupler will need
to be put in place between the modified shaft and the
column.
1966-'69 Mustang - A rag joint will need to be put in
between the steering column and the gearbox. This will act
as a coupler as well as a vibration dampener.

Turn Signal Wiring - Your
ididit column will come
complete with 3 7/8” GM Plug. The female side to the plug is
also included with your column. Simply crimp the clips to
the end of each wire from your vehicle. Using the schematic
provided match the function of the wires to those on the
column. The wires should be matched by function rather than
by color.
Horn Wiring - The horn will need to be
converted from the 12 volt system found in your Mustang to
the ground style system with a relay that is necessary for
your ididit column.
