Hydraulic Throwout Bearing Kits are designed for
transmissions that cannot accept an external slave cylinder. ie:
top loader, T-45. These kits are necessary for eliminating the
mechanical linkage that can be troublesome on certain
transmissions. Although this is a hydraulic application, the
clutch peddle may retain the same stiffness as the standard
linkage, or may get stiffer. This is an excellent option for
applications that need to get rid of the mechanical linkage. If
you have a Tremec transmission, ie: T-5, T-56, TKO then we
recommend an
external slave kit.
